Two artists from the Indonesian netlabel OneLoop are featured in this episode.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Play<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

EXPANDIZONS episode 29 features 11 chilled tracks, including two artists in a compilation from an Indonesian netlabel called\u00a0oneLoop<\/a>. We start out with a dreamy track from\u00a0Asturiaz<\/a> called “Can’t Sleep,” which somehow reminds me of Sigur R\u00f3s, and that’s a good thing. Track 3 is from another Indonesian artist on that compilation. His name is Wu:m<\/a>, and the track is “Neo,” which begins very chilled out, but introduces an undercurrent of tension and dissonance near the end.<\/p>\n

Klangstein joins us in this episode with a gorgeous track called “Ganz Leise,” featuring the vocals of Sylvia Gerlach. Klangstein is with the German label\u00a01cc Records<\/a>, which has a number of wonderful chillout artists, and he also has a website<\/a> where you can learn more about him.http:\/\/expandizons.com\/podcasts\/archives\/96<\/p>\n

Mr. Moods is back from Canada with another nice track from his album “In Love We Trust…and Hate,<\/a>” from the DirtyBird Rexx netlabel. You heard Mr. Moods in episode 19<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And San Francisco’s\u00a0PolyGroovers<\/a> are back again with another great track from their album, “Moods for Take Out.” You can buy it from\u00a0iTunes<\/a>. You heard the PolyGroovers in episode 17<\/a>, the San Francisco episode.<\/p>\n

Next…who can resist\u00a0Lovespirals<\/a>? Thanks to the podsafe music network, I got my hands on this wonderful remix of the Lovespirals’ “Motherless Child,” by\u00a0Karmacoda. <\/a>They’ve also have been in this podcast before. The track is from a Lovespirals EP called — what else? — “Motherless Child EP,” which you can buy from\u00a0iTunes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Two Loons for Tea <\/a>are back in this episode with another memorable track (“Consuela”) from their album, “Nine Lucid Dreams” (Sarathan Records), which you can buy on\u00a0iTunes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

For the first time, we’ve got a\u00a0Sunburn in Cyprus<\/a> track in “Expand Your Musical Horizons.” This track, “In the Sunshine (apr\u00e8s beach mix)” is through the Podsafe Music Network. But you can buy more of their music from\u00a0iTunes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Next, we have\u00a0Serakina<\/a> from Switzerland with the relaxing track “Weekend’s End,” which I got from\u00a0jamendo.com<\/a>. I recommend that you buy it from\u00a0CDBaby.com <\/a>to give him your support.<\/p>\n

Track 9 was a fun, deep groove from\u00a0Solaris Music<\/a>i (USA) with “Cloud 9,” an excerpt of a longer track. Check out his\u00a0MySpace page<\/a>, too, for news of when his music will be available for sale and for info on his live performances.<\/p>\n
