How indie musicians reach their audiences from home, and how you can help<\/h2>\n

The Expandizons podcast has always promoted indie musicians and encouraged you to buy their tracks. All musicians rely on live performances, online record sales, and streaming income to thrive.<\/p>\n

So without live venues and clubs, how can we hear them … and more importantly, how can we support them? Here’s a look at what a few of the artists featured on Expandizons have been doing lately, while sheltering at home.<\/p>\n

Celeste Lear<\/a><\/h3>\n

DJ Celeste hasn’t stopped performing! She’s performed several live online events. This\u00a0release event<\/a>\u00a0is scheduled for May 1st — subscribe to her channel on YouTube or follow her on Facebook to make sure you don’t miss anything from now on!<\/p>\n

Lazy Hammock<\/a><\/h3>\n

Lazy Hammock continues to release new music. Her tracks have been used in numerous compilations and in TV shows. She recently did a live performance on\u00a0Facebook<\/a>. Follow her to make sure you catch future performances. In addition, she’s a life coach, and released an\u00a0e-book<\/a>\u00a0for dealing with isolation during the COVID crisis: “Top Ten Coping Strategies for Enforced Isolation and Loneliness.”<\/p>\n

Kick Bong<\/a><\/h3>\n

After performing live at Chill Top in Goa and other live venues, Kick Bong is now sheltering at home in Paris. He continues to release new music, which you can find on Bandcamp. His newest release is “The Last Tree<\/a>,” released on Cosmicleaf Records, and available for sale on Bandcamp.<\/p>\n

Eamonn Flynn<\/a><\/h3>\n

Eamonn performs onine with live piano concerts on\u00a0Facebook<\/a>\u00a0and accepts song requests as well Venmo or PayPal donations.<\/p>\n

Artemis<\/a><\/h3>\n

Artemis has recently released some EPs with her longtime collaborators Steve Lawson<\/a> and Daniel Berkman<\/a>. “For a Human World<\/a>” is an introspective work specifically about living in the COVID pandemic, and our collective loss of control.”Transfigure<\/a>,” released in 2019, was actually recorded in 2014 during a house tour with Daniel Berkman and Steve Lawson. I saw one of their performances in San Francisco, and it was pretty exhilarating. with Daniel Berkman’s inventive and spontaneous percussive loops, Steve’s virtuoso bass, and Artemis’s on-point vocals. The sheer mojo of these three artists together created a warm cocoon of sound, which you can experience yourself in this release.<\/p>\n

SINE Music<\/a><\/h3>\n

SINE Music continues to release quality chillout compilations and full albums for sale. Some of the newest releases include “Introspection<\/a>” by Cosmaks, “Bring Me Back EP<\/a>” by Fade, “Never Give Up<\/a>” by Gold Lounge, and “Revive<\/a>,” by Evadez.<\/p>\n

Lynda Arnold<\/a>\u00a0aka “Divasonic”<\/h3>\n

Lynda Arnold, who’s been on Expandizons podcasts under another moniker (Divasonic) is a sound healer and does classes online. She’s also released a new album on Bandcamp called “Kalaallit Nunaat<\/a>.” It released in April 2020, and she said “On this Earth day, as we are required to stay inside, in turn giving our planet a much needed break. This is great time to tune into the power of our planet, and give reverence to the balance Mama Gaia works to maintain as well as reflect on our relationship to it.”<\/p>\n

Indolore<\/a><\/h3>\n

Once a member of the French trip-hop band Shine (don’t miss their\u00a0interview in Paris<\/a>\u00a0with Expandizons back in 2012), Indolore is now a solo artist. He releases thoughtful, sometimes melancholic music inspired by —. His latest release is “Love Letters From Eylenda,” available on\u00a0Apple Music<\/a>, iTunes,\u00a0Spotify<\/a>, and Deezer.<\/p>\n

Aor Agni<\/a><\/h3>\n

Aor Agni (France) was featured on Expandizons several times. He’s still making music, and released a very ethereal, chilled album in late 2019 called “Transitions<\/a>,” and more recently an EP called “Inner Peace.<\/a>” You can hear it\/buy it on Bandcamp.<\/p>\n
